A Tribute to a Game I Loved

From Febuary 19th 2021 to about August 19th 2023 I played Destiny 2 every single day I was home and could play. I have met some many good people via D2, some are life long friends that I either met randomly in the tower one day or via an LFG post for a Raid. There has been one time in my life i have been awake for more then 48 hours strait. That was on Febuary 22nd 2022 to Febuary 24th 2022, if you font know what happend near those day's, well a new DLC for Destiny 2 came out. It was called The Witch Queen.

The Witch Queen is really special to me and my small and dark heart, not only was it my first DLC with the game but to me it was the best and still is the best in the game. I remember playing the Legendary campaign with a friend of mine on day one at points it was not easy, it was hard and that was good. I knew it was hard but that final boss room with Savathun holy molly to this day no campaign final boss has been as hard as she was on day one.

It was around the end of 2023 when my hours on Destiny 2 started to fall down I don't fully remember why might be since I had a job at that time but im not sure. Around the start of 2024 February ish I found a game called Warframe, it saved me from some dark time's. It also led to that I lost of lot of my interest in Destiny 2. My interest was really never the same for it since, though I did still love the game.

I have as of now over 4k hours on Destiny 2 most of those I got before I started playing Warframe. The reason why I am adding this page to my website is that Destiny 2 is getting its final update on June 9th 2026 which will make the game "dead" well at least in terms of update's. This is mostly Pete fuck-car Parsons fault. The TL;DR of it is that he sold Bungie to Sony for way too much money, in about 2 years ish he laid off over 300 people from Bungie it was also found out that he spent millions of dollars on classic cars while laying off the people working for him.

He wanted Bungie to be a multi IP studio and well that did happen, as Aztecross once said "congrats Bungie you were a multi IP studio for 4 months".

I have always Loved Destiny 2 I have only really liked it for the past year and that saddens me, even more so that it's ending in this shit way.
